2009 DMCBAA Scholarship Report On Saturday, April 25, 2009, the Dallas Metroplex Council of Black Alumni Associations hosted its annual DMCBAA
John A. Woods Memorial Scholarship Reception at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Dallas Texas. The reception was well attended
by scholarship recipients and their families and DMCBAA members. 33 scholarships and book awards totaling $8,950.00
were awarded. In addition, the 2009 DMCBAA Jimmy Walker Memorial Scholarship was awarded in the amount of $1000.00.
